PlanetPlay, the not-for-profit games marketplace directing 100% of proceeds to verified environmental projects, announced a groundbreaking partnership with iconic publisher SEGA on September 15, 2025, in London, UK. The SEGA Debut Sale runs until September 30 on PlanetPlay's online store (www.planetplay.com), featuring over 242 SEGA PC titles at up to 80% off. With more than 320,000 registered users and over 2,000 PC games available, every purchase funds global green initiatives like Hongera clean cookstoves in Kenya and the With One Seed reforestation in Timor-Leste, all certified by Gold Standard. Players expand their libraries while contributing to planetary protection, making gaming a force for good.

Highlights from the sale include fan-favorites and recent releases such as Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Persona 5 Royal, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, Sonic Shadow Generations, Total War: Warhammer, and Two Point Museum. To explore the full lineup, visit the SEGA games section on PlanetPlay. This collaboration aligns with PlanetPlay's mission to make environmental action effortless, accessible, and enjoyable, following their August launch of Project Indie with Secret Mode, which highlights emerging developers taking green steps and shows how simple impactful gaming can be.

Felix Bradshaw, Global Head of Business Development at PlanetPlay, stated: “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome SEGA to the PlanetPlay movement. SEGA has created some of the most iconic and beloved games in history, and now players have the chance to enjoy those titles while making a real difference for the planet.” Rhys Cash, VP of Digital Sales at SEGA, added: “Featuring SEGA titles on PlanetPlay reflects our commitment to engaging our audience through an expansive digital presence... We’re pleased to explore how our titles can contribute to growing this vision.” This partnership proves that playing with purpose benefits everyone, driving positive change through video games.
