News: Onirism Launch Pushed to October 2nd

Shoreline Games and Crimson Tale have announced a delay in the launch of their eagerly awaited game, Onirism, shifting the release from September 25th to October 2nd, 2025. The postponement is attributed to an unexpected external factor-the simultaneous launch of Hades 2 on the original release date. This strategic decision aims to avoid clashing with the high-profile release, allowing Onirism to secure its moment in the spotlight. Despite the delay, excitement for the game remains robust, with over 75,000 wishlists accumulated on Steam, reflecting strong community support and anticipation for the title’s vibrant action-adventure experience.
Onirism, initially launched in Early Access to widespread acclaim, combines third-person shooting, puzzle-solving, and platforming in a fantastical multiverse. The full 1.0 release will feature the complete campaign, following young protagonist Carol as she embarks on a quest to rescue her plush toy, Bunbun, and unravel the mysteries of a dreamlike dimension accessed through a portal. The additional week before launch will enable the development team to polish the game, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for players while also giving them time to enjoy Hades 2.
Adding to the game’s allure, Onirism boasts a notable voice cast for its full release. K-pop star AleXa, a recent Billboard-charting artist, voices protagonist Carol in the English version, while Anna Lauzeray-Gishi, recognized for her role as Kiriko in Overwatch, provides the French voiceover. The cast is further enriched by YouTube personalities Benzaie and Bob Lennon, who bring their distinctive charisma to key characters, enhancing the game’s appeal. This celebrity-studded lineup underscores Onirism’s ambition to deliver a memorable and immersive narrative within its whimsical universe.
