The legendary cult classic O.D.T. returns with O.D.T: Escape Again... Or Die Trying, a complete remake rebuilt from the ground up for modern players. This sci-fi action-adventure features updated controls, expanded combat, restored content, and deeper progression systems. Players take on the role of survivors after the airship Nautiflyus crashes atop a massive, hostile tower in the Forbidden Zone while transporting the mystical Green Pearl—the last hope to cure a deadly epidemic ravaging the city of Cali. The mission: repair the ship, descend through the tower's deadly sectors, and escape before time runs out, or face certain death.

Choose from 9 unique characters, each with distinct traits, personalities, and starting loadouts to shape your preferred playstyle—whether melee-focused, ranged combat, stealth, magic, or hybrid builds. Explore 7 handcrafted levels filled with secrets, puzzles, environmental hazards, and relentless enemies. Combat is dynamic and third-person, incorporating evasive rolls, advanced movement, over 30 spells across elemental schools, and a variety of weapons with five ammo types (Blaster, Flamer, Zapper, Thumper, Laser) and five damage types (Light, Fire, Ionic, Fusion, Plasma). Mix and match systems to exploit enemy weaknesses, with enemies now able to cast spells and manage mana for added depth.

The remake brings modern visuals and audio, including enhanced lighting, shadows, ambient occlusion, detailed environments, and 3D directional sound. Quality-of-life improvements feature smoother animations, responsive controls, improved menus, a new recovery save system, an 8-slot radial menu, widescreen support, expanded movement with stances, diving, crawling, and prone actions, plus deep character progression via seven skill trees (Essence, Arcane, Blaster, Flamer, Zapper, Thumper, Laser). Levels have been reworked with new sectors, secrets, enemies, and better flow while preserving iconic layouts, and content has been restored from the most complete PlayStation version, including unused music, stat screens, and a previously exclusive character. A playable demo is available, featuring the full prologue and first level with 4 unique characters to experiment with various builds and discover the tower's atmosphere, combat depth, and strategic freedom.
