The twisted narrative-driven card-based simulation
Sultan’s Game
from developer Double Cross Studio and publisher 2P Games, has sold over 250,000 copies within the first week of launch. Sultan’s
Game quickly soared to the top of the Steam bestseller list, thanks to its distinct setting and gameplay.

Sultan's Game is a card-based simulation and narrative game, inspired by The One Thousand and One Nights. You are one of the ministers of the mighty Sultan, a fickle, cruel king who treats his subjects like pawns in a deadly game for his own pleasure. Forced to make dreadful choices to save your own life, you will have to find a way to survive not just the Sultan’s Game, but its consequences too.

Sink into sin as the Sultan’s favored courtier, indulging his wicked whims to stave off execution. Every seven days, draw from one of four depraved card categories that command vile deeds. Pursue forbidden desires with Carnality, squander riches with reckless Extravagance, brave deadly exploits through Conquer, or offer up human lives when fate deals Bloodshed. Fail to fulfill a card’s demand within the week and suffer fatal consequences.

Roam a vast realm, from shadowy alleys and smoky brothels to the opulence of the Sultan’s Palace and the sanctity of grand Temples. Endure encounters with savage dogs and roaring lions… or face off against unholy demons and draconian dragons. Gather resource cards like Gold, Convictions, and Nobles to charm citizens and bend the royal court’s opinion. Sharpen the mind, amass gear, complete quests, and rally allies to become an influential force.

Seize control within the Sultan’s cruel game and ascend as a cunning manipulator. What starts as a deadly trial may become a gateway to power and influence. A political rival might serve nicely as the offering for a Bloodshed card, while a Carnality demand could transform a coveted figure into a devoted spouse. Make calculated decisions, as every extreme choice risks alienating close allies, leading to a stalemate in this twisted game.

To celebrate the 250,000-copy milestone, Double Cross Studio has released a special illustration and revealed its plans to expand
and improve the experience over the coming two months.
New story content, an epilogue, and Steam Workshop support are in active development, and updates on the horizon include music
enhancements, improvements to card management, and clearer indicators that can be changed in settings as well as warnings for
mature content.

The One Thousand and One Nights inspired card-based simulation Sultan’s Game is now available on PC via Steam including language support for English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
