News: Multiplayer horror comedy Forecursed received major content update
The first major update for the multiplayer horror comedy game
Forecursed
introduces new items and equipment, one map, and a monstrous ghoul to help accommodate a greater variety
of players.
Dive into Forecursed’s latest level, designed for smaller groups of three to six players, or explore the
original up-to-12-player free-for-alls with new tools and threats.

Forecursed is an ill-fated game of tag - where even death is no escape! As inmates abandoned on a cursed
planet and condemned to execution, you’ll evade the roaming entity that possesses and murders its victims.
But each foolhardy player it takes will themselves rise up and become ghouls, each with their own unique,
monstrous abilities. Be the last survivor and earn your freedom, or succumb to the thrill of ghoulishness!

The first major update to Forecursed introduces a new map designed for more intimate parties of players - the Train level includes a runaway locomotive that segments the map, forcing players to astutely avoid the nearby encroaching ghouls or risk a high-speed collision with the train. Claustrophobic chaos, frantic gameplay... and who doesn’t like trains?

A new map needs a new threat. Forecursed’s latest ghoul is, according to Van Herck, a gecko-balloon-walrus that latches onto players and sucks out their oxygen supply before eventually exploding. But don’t fret, it’s relatively easy to detach - just slap it (a few dozen times or so). But you’d better be quick before it drains you of your precious oxygen.

The update also introduces new items to fend off the ghoulish horde. These include the B. Eagle, a powerful handgun that can easily buy you enough time for a quick getaway, but be sparing: it is so potent that it goes flying out of your hands after a single shot. For something more reliable, albeit at close range, the taser can stun foes - be they ghoul or another player - in their place.

For a more strategic approach, use the new fluorescent paintball gun to your advantage. Tag ghouls with bright, glowing paint to help your fellow players evade them... or lead the ghouls to their next victim by tagging the players themselves and make it that much harder for them to hide.

The cursed multiplayer horror comedy game of tag with a twist, Forecursed is now available in Early Access on Steam for PC.
