Repterra Version 1.0 is out now on Steam, bringing the base-building survival RTS to its full release after Early Access. MicroProse announced the complete dinosaur strategy experience has arrived, complete with a brand-new 1.0 Launch Trailer showcasing sprawling colonies, dinosaur breeding and riding, powerful factions, devastating technology, and battlefields packed with prehistoric creatures. In Repterra, humanity attempts to reclaim a world overwhelmed by dinosaurs. Players establish and expand colonies, develop production and defenses, build armies, and turn the planet’s greatest threat into one of their greatest weapons. Dinosaurs can be tamed, bred, genetically modified, and ridden into battle, creating combinations of human units and prehistoric creatures with unique abilities. Massive enemy hordes ensure that even carefully constructed colonies can face very large and hungry problems. Version 1.0 unites the complete experience including major Early Access additions such as the Electric Faction, Custom Level Editor with Steam Workshop support, the Volcano Map, expanded faction content, progression and balancing improvements, plus extensive quality-of-life, visual, and performance updates.

Core features center on building massive colonies with sprawling settlements, production networks, defenses, and infrastructure while preparing for dangerous dinosaur attacks. The technology supports battles involving 100,000 or more dinosaurs, turning late-game encounters into enormous clashes. Players tame dinosaurs by luring them to add the creatures to their forces instead of simply exterminating them. Breeding stations allow pairing dinosaurs to discover offspring results, with genetic mutations providing experimentation and customization while contributing to long-term progression. Soldiers, Engineers, and Tamers can be assigned to dinosaurs for mounted combinations featuring special abilities. Three distinct playable factions offer different units, perks, heroes, and strategic focuses. The Electric Faction brings Shock Troopers, Tesla Coils, advanced electrical technology, and its own Hero. Upgradeable Hero units lead forces with active and passive abilities; they level up, receive genetic mutation customizations, and respawn for further battles. Deep meta progression lets players earn DNA points, unlock perks and upgrades, develop powerful superweapons, and expand strategic options across repeated playthroughs.

Highly replayable battlefields include multiple maps and environments such as the Volcano Map, with unlockables and progression encouraging different approaches and faction strategies. The Custom Level Editor and Steam Workshop support allow players to build and share levels and scenarios while discovering community creations. Early Access refinements brought extensive balancing, improved breeding and taming, expanded faction content, UI and control improvements, upgraded visuals and lighting, better performance and stability, and numerous quality-of-life additions. According to the Steam store page, Repterra is a base-building survival RTS set in a world overrun by dinosaurs where players manage colonies while battling massive dino hordes, breed and ride their own dinos, unlock permanent upgrades, and fight to reclaim the world for humanity. It features unique breeding, riding, and taming mechanics, three factions with unique play-styles, game-modifying perks, permanent unlockable points, customizable hero units, multiple highly replayable maps with meta progression, support for over 100,000 dinosaurs at 60 fps, dozens of units, dinos, and buildings, achievements, Steam Cloud, and high-resolution graphics. Humanity has rebuilt, the dinosaurs have multiplied, and now it is time to discover which side owns the planet. Repterra Version 1.0 is available now on Steam with the new launch trailer ready to watch.
