In Mojika: Truth Rears Its Ugly Head, players take on the role of Tanezaki Suteru, a boy tormented for his appearance and burdened with a unique ability-Wordsight. Though his vision is cursed to reach only 120 centimeters, he can read a person's thoughts by simply looking at their face. Wordsight quickly uncovers the malice and deceit lurking beneath his classmates' smiles. What begins as his everyday humiliation spirals into a path of revelations, confessions, and vengeance.
Suteru is an outcast burdened by his ugly appearance who possesses a rare and unsettling gift called “Wordsight” in which thoughts materialize as words. His unique ability allows him to uncover the disturbing secrets of those who torment him and help him seek revenge.
Suteru's world crumbles when his crush humiliates him with a fake confession of love. No longer willing to endure the ridicule, he uses his powerful ability to expose the hidden truths of the five girls who made him suffer and takes matters into his own hands.
Suteru’s tormentors hide more than their cruelty, and his ability may hold secrets far beyond his understanding. In a school divided by whispers and hidden motives, each path he follows reveals glimpses of lives intertwined with lies and truths that could change everything.
