Arc Games announced that it will publish Sil and the Fading World, a solo-raiding action RPG from IceCrack Games. The partnership pairs Arc Games' worldwide publishing, marketing, and long-term strategy with IceCrack Games' development and creative direction. The game draws on MMO-inspired raid boss encounters and ARPG buildcrafting, and it asks players to face multi-phase bosses alone, with no group and no queue required. IceCrack Games is an independent studio based in Switzerland and was founded by twin brothers with a shared passion for RPGs, competitive gaming, theory-crafting, and game development. Sil and the Fading World is the studio's debut title. "Sil and the Fading World immediately stood out to us with its distinct approach to bringing the challenge of MMO-inspired raid encounters into a solo action RPG," said Yoon Im, CEO of Arc Games. "We're thrilled to partner with IceCrack Games to help bring their vision to players."

"As a small independent team, we've poured our passion for RPGs, theory-crafting, and challenging raid encounters into Sil and the Fading World," said Bardh Dervishaj, co-founder of IceCrack Games. "Partnering with Arc Games is an incredible milestone for us. We're excited to have a partner who believes in what we're building and can help us bring the game to even more players." To mark the announcement, a free demo is available on Steam, and players can join the official Sil and the Fading World Discord for upcoming community playtests. An official announcement trailer has also been released. On Steam, IceCrack Games is listed as the developer and Arc Games as the publisher. The full game is listed as coming soon, and a separate free demo is already live. Steam describes the setting as Aritas, a sinister world ravaged by ancient Gods of the Realm Below, and presents the game as a solo-raiding action RPG in which players face raid-style boss encounters without a group or a queue.

Players can craft a build from nine class specializations, a skill tree with more than 200 nodes, more than 100 unique items, and a deep randomized loot system. Combat is third-person and close range, with high-velocity action, rotation-based skill combinations inspired by MMOs, and arena control through powerful abilities. Ancient relics can embed Soul Crystals that contain the essence of defeated bosses, turning those strengths against later foes. In the Abyss, raids that have already been conquered return with exponentially higher difficulty and better rewards. Arc Games, founded in 2008 as Perfect World Entertainment and later rebranded, publishes AA and indie games across North America, Europe, and Asia. Its catalog includes Neverwinter, Star Trek Online, Remnant II, Remnant: From the Ashes, the Torchlight series, Fellowship, Have a Nice Death, and Frosthaven. The company is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area and has offices in Amsterdam and Shanghai. IceCrack Games will continue to lead development, while both the announcement and the Steam page emphasize the same promise: no group, no queue, and all boss raids.
